CONTEMP is an ultra-accurate, low-cost concrete temperature and maturity monitoring system that works right out of the box with built-in cellular and WiFi — no gateways, no site visits, no subscription fees.

Where the readings go is up to you. Use the CONTEMP dashboard, send everything to the software your team already works in, or do both at once.

Both Maturity Methods — Your Choice

CONTEMP began with Nurse-Saul. It now supports Arrhenius equivalent age as well, so your calibration can follow whichever function your specification, your lab or your engineer works in.

Nurse-Saul

Temperature-time factor

M(t) = Σ (T_a − T₀) × Δt

The classic function, and the one most existing formulas are written in. It needs a single datum temperature, and it adds up the warmth the concrete has received above it.

Arrhenius

Equivalent age · newly added

t_e = Σ e^{−Q (1/T_a − 1/T_s)} × Δt

How many hours at the reference temperature would have produced the same hydration. It holds up better across a wide temperature range, at the cost of one more parameter.

You choose the function for each calibration formula, and it stays locked once the formula is saved — the measured points are in that method’s units. Maturity is calculated from the embedded sensors only, never from the ambient one.
